The byrd Robin is an extremely compact, easily carried folder that is ideal for everyday carry. Its hollow-ground drop-point blade is precision machined from 8Cr13Mov stainless steel and features the byrd line's signature -Inch Comet Hole -Inch cutout, which provides positive, ambidextrous one-handed opening. This version of the Robin has a lightweight handle molded from black fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The handle features skeletonized stainless steel liners and a unique stepped texturing that provides a comfortable, controllable grip in all conditions. Phosphor bronze bushings ensure a smooth action, while a stout back lock mechanism and David Boye Dent guarantee a safe, secure blade lock-up. A four-way pocket clip supports left or right-handed, tip-up or tip-down carry, making the Robin completely ambidextrous and an ideal choice for left-handers.
